The hosting service can process normal technical request data, such as an IP address, time, requested URL, browser information, and response status. This data is used for security, reliability, and aggregate operations. It is not sold by this publication.
The contact route collects the name, email address, desk route, optional brief URL, and research note that a sender provides. It stores the record on this site’s own server for editorial review and a possible reply. Contact records are deleted after 90 days. The contact record does not add an IP address or browser identifier. Use the contact route and select “Privacy request” to request earlier deletion.
